Do I have to be in recovery to use this?
No. We built it for people in recovery, but you don't have to tell us anything about that to get care.
Where are telehealth services available?
Telehealth services may be available in 50 states and Washington, D.C., where clinically appropriate and permitted by applicable law. At-home lab testing isn't available in New York. Clinical care is provided by licensed medical providers affiliated with an independent physician group. Some treatments can't ship to every state, so your intake only shows what's available where you live.
Is treatment guaranteed?
No. Completing an intake form or selecting a program does not guarantee treatment. Prescription medications are only provided when a licensed medical provider determines they are clinically appropriate.
Do I need to speak with a provider?
Your intake is reviewed by a licensed medical provider. Depending on your health history, goals, treatment request, and applicable requirements, the provider may request additional information, lab work, or a consultation before making a treatment decision. Some states require a short phone or video visit, and we'll tell you at the start of your intake. Testosterone always requires a video visit with a licensed provider.
Are compounded medications FDA-approved?
No. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not evaluate compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
Will I see a needle?
Not with the lab kit. The device collects the sample inside a closed housing in a few seconds. If a panel ever needs a standard draw, we tell you before you order.
I'm on Suboxone, methadone, or naltrexone. Can I still do this?
Maybe. Tell your clinician everything you take, including anything for your recovery, and they'll make the call. Don't stop or change any medication on your own. Some weight medications contain naltrexone. We don't offer them, because they can cause withdrawal if you take opioid medication.
Will it help with cravings for alcohol or drugs?
No. Trusted Source Rx doesn't diagnose or treat addiction or substance use disorder, and doesn't prescribe medication for cravings. That includes NAD+ and the other peptides: they may support cellular energy, and that is all we claim. If recovery feels shaky, reach out to your support people, your doctor, or SAMHSA's National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357.
Who sees my information?
Your clinician, the pharmacy filling your prescription, and the lab running your sample. Not advertisers. Not anyone else. Read the full Notice of Privacy Practices on the Legal page.
Can I use Trusted Source Rx for emergency care?
No. Trusted Source Rx is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical attention. In crisis, call or text 988.
Who provides the clinical care?
The Network Health, an independent physician group, for weight management, sexual health, hair, peptides, women's health and lab panels. Ola Digital Health, a second independent physician group, for testosterone and hormone therapy. Reach The Network Health at DJ@TheNetworkHealth.com or (509) 907-4306, and Ola Digital Health at info@oladigitalhealth.com. Your account shows your clinician and their practice, and you can message them there.
Who handles pharmacy and prescription fulfillment?
State-licensed US pharmacies: 3 licensed 503A compounding pharmacies fill compounded medications, and a licensed commercial pharmacy fills FDA-approved generics and brands. Your prescription is routed to the pharmacy licensed to ship to your state; you don't choose one. Your order page shows which pharmacy fills your prescription, and each pharmacy's phone number and email for prescription or delivery questions are at the bottom of every page.
How does the at-home test work?
The kit comes with a small upper-arm device. You place it on your arm, press the button, and it collects a small sample in a few seconds. Then you mail it back in the prepaid box. A physician reviews the results and they come back to you in plain English.
Will I see a needle?
Not with the lab kit. The device collects the sample inside a closed housing in a few seconds. If a panel ever needs a standard draw, we tell you before you order.
Who runs my sample?
A CLIA-certified laboratory, and a licensed clinician reviews every order before the kit ships.
Can you ship a kit to my state?
At-home lab testing isn't available in New York. Everywhere else, we can ship a kit to you.
Do lab results mean I'll be treated?
No. Lab results on their own are not a diagnosis or a treatment. They tell you where you stand. Next steps come from a clinician, never from software.
Do I need labs before I start?
No. Labs are never required for a prescription. Start whenever you're ready, and along the way we'll suggest a panel so you can see what's changing on the inside.
Is a GLP-1 a controlled substance?
No. It's a prescription medication, but it isn't a controlled substance. What fits your recovery is your call, and a good conversation to have with your people.
Is there an option without a needle?
Yes. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide also come as a troche or oral drops you dissolve under the tongue. Your clinician decides which form fits, and whether they can ship to your state.
What if I don't qualify?
Then we tell you plainly, and you're not charged for medication. No is a real possible answer.
How much does it cost, all in?
A visit fee, then the medication price at checkout if a clinician prescribes it, and labs only if you order them. Medication is never charged before a clinician approves it.
Is testosterone a controlled substance?
Yes. Testosterone in every form, including creams, troches and the oral capsule, is a Schedule III controlled substance. That's why it is available only after a video visit with a licensed provider, and why your first labs are drawn in person.
Can I do it all online?
Not for testosterone. Your intake is online, your labs are drawn at a lab near you, and your clinician meets you on video. Clomiphene and enclomiphene are not controlled substances and don't need the video step.
Will it fix my energy?
We don't promise results. Low energy has a lot of causes, and testosterone is only one of them. Your clinician reads your numbers and tells you what they'd do, and no is a real possible answer.
How fast does hair treatment work?
Months, not weeks. Your clinician checks in at 3 months, and the photos from day one are how you'll actually see the difference.
Does finasteride have side effects?
It can, including sexual side effects and mood changes. The same goes for dutasteride. Tell your clinician about any history of depression or anxiety, and if your mood changes after starting, stop and contact your clinician. The full picture is on the safety page.
Is there anything for women's hair?
Yes. A clinician may prescribe spironolactone or a scalp solution for thinning hair in women. Some hair medications aren't safe in pregnancy, and your clinician will ask.
What do peptides actually do?
Each one is different. NAD+ may support cellular energy, sermorelin may support your body's own growth hormone signalling, glutathione is an antioxidant. We say what a product may support and nothing more. Results vary.
Are peptides FDA-approved?
No. Every peptide we offer is compounded by a licensed 503A pharmacy for an individual prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.
Do peptides treat addiction or withdrawal?
No. Nothing we offer treats substance use disorder, cravings or withdrawal, and we won't suggest otherwise.
Is this for women too?
Yes. Women in recovery get the same licensed clinicians, the same vetted pharmacies, and the same kit, plus everyday care, hormone therapy, and lab panels built for women. It's all on the women's page.
What if I'm pregnant or planning to be?
Weight management medication is not for anyone who is pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, and some hair and hormone medications aren't safe during pregnancy either. Your clinician will ask.
Will thyroid medication help me lose the weight?
That's not what it's for. Thyroid medication treats a thyroid that tests low, which can show up as fatigue and a slow metabolism. It is not a weight medication, and we don't sell it as one.
What is bioidentical hormone therapy?
A compounded cream, troche or drops made to the hormones and strengths your clinician prescribes. Sometimes called bioidentical. Compounded hormone therapy is not FDA-approved, and FDA-approved options come first.
Who sees my information?
Your clinician, the pharmacy filling your prescription, and the lab running your sample. Not advertisers. Not anyone else. Read the full Notice of Privacy Practices on the Legal page.
Do you use ad trackers?
No ad pixels run on pages that collect health information, and we don't share your health information with Facebook, Google, or anyone selling ads.
